Hughes warns Liverpool over title drought

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes believes Liverpool can win the Premier League, but warned it would only get tougher the longer their title drought went on.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are third inside the table, nine points behind Chelsea but with a game in hand, ahead of hosting Stoke on Tuesday.
The club are devoid of a league title considering the fact that 1990, the year they won the last of their 18.
Hughes, who won two Premier League crowns as a player with Manchester United, stated it would only become harder to finish the wait.
“Every year it’s extra challenging. Every year it keeps perpetuating it becomes additional difficult,” he said.
“Certainly when I was at United it was talked about prior to the season, in the course of the season and at the finish.
“And in the event you hadn’t carried out it then it was debated once more in a adverse way. It was always there.
“That’s maybe why, becoming a part of that team [in 1992-93] and becoming capable to complete that [win United’s 1st title due to the fact ’67’], that team is remembered and revered a bit bit mainly because we were able to break that extended line of difficulty of winning the league championship.”
Liverpool have lost just two league games this season plus a win over Stoke would see them return to second within the table.
Hughes said he felt the club had regained belief, along with a league title could comply with.
“Do I think Liverpool can do it? Yes, they’re capable without having a doubt and they’ve the potential to win it,” he said.
“Liverpool will really feel this can be a fantastic chance to have rid of that weight and have a period of success like they had in the ’80s and early ’90s.
“They appear to possess the belief they’re able to and it appears a really constructive club again.”buy fifa ultimate team coins at fifacoinsbuy, you can also sell your fifa coins to us
